I have never seen rubbish which has been queued in my entire life before. Hence, when I saw this rubbish I was extremely shocked and I know anyone in my shoes would also be amazed for the first time when he/she sets the eyes on such a heaped refuse which has been lined-up in wheelbarrows, waiting for those infront to empty theirs wheelbarrows then you can imagine what the others will do. Again, I was strongly dumbfounded when I saw a market just next to this rubbish tank. Worst enough, this tank is very full and thereby it can no longer contain anymore rubbish but still these wheelbarrow pushers are forcing to empty their wheelbarrows. Besides, the ground is full with some of the refuse which has very bad stench and yet these market sellers were sitting in selling their produces. I know by now people would be wondering where in Ghana, did such‘amazement’ happened. These wheelbarrows in queue took place in Tema Community One and this rubbish tank in question only shares a wall with this market. The market is also beside the International Commercial Bank ( I C B) and also the worst part of this story is that these wheelbarrows pushers are sharing the street with the commercial drivers due to that there is always an intense traffic overthere and that same road also leading to the main station. I strongly believe the authorities are much aware of this menace so they must try their best to stop people from dumping refuse into the tank when it is full. Much needed to be done!!
